Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. -Pablo Picaso. “Pablo Picaso”

I want to work on learning the skills of sketching which is once I’ve dreamt of it in my #JustStart project. Now I have the chance and urge to learn something about the thing which once I’ve dreamt of it.

Because I loved to play with colors, do painting and drawing in my childhood, It was my dream to learn Sketching Professionally and Painting by pursuing my professional degree in it. I want to become an artist in my childhood. I am of the view that after working on the project work on the goal which I haven’t achieved earlier brings me the chance to convey my message to the world in an artistic approach.

The challenges I’ve faced in the past due to which I could not achieve my goal were lack of resources, non-provision of professional guidance, and heavy engagement of practical responsibilities. Due to these challenges I was not be able to work on the goal to be achieved.

There was always regret in my life to not achieve my dreamed goal. I learned the basics of croquis technique regarding sketching. After working and completing the first task in this week, I feel myself accomplished. It was an amazing experience to complete the uncompleted.

The challenges I faced during the activity are time constraint, lack of expert guidance, official engagements.

Sketching helped me to be more focused on work to be done, thinking about other ways to enhance the effectiveness of the work. This activity brings me the confidence that if some line of part of the sketch went wrong how I can restyle them to make another artwork. I learned that nothing is going to be late in achieving something we love to do. We can get everything, anytime when we determined to achieve.

There were 3 main types of sketches which I start learning basics of them each week.

2. Pochade

3. Portrait Sketch

Takeaway of this activity !

Amal team, you are awesome ! Sketching gives me an opportunity to think beyond the boundaries. Let the things be done, no matter they seems possible or not :)

Ending up with the quote

I prefer drawing to talking. Drawing is faster, and leaves less room for lies.-Le Corbusier
